This shoot was heavily influenced by Ellen von Unwerth’s playful yet provocative style, which often celebrates femininity and challenges traditional ideas of womanhood. Drawing on the concept of the “housewife” stereotype, I wanted to reimagine this familiar narrative into something empowering and self-assured. Through bold styling, expressive poses, and a touch of vintage glamour, the shoot transforms domestic imagery into a statement of confidence and autonomy. Rather than being confined by the expectations of the role, the model embodies control, strength, and sensuality, echoing von Unwerth’s ability to turn the male gaze on its head and celebrate women’s power in their own space.
